Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 medium potatoes peeled and diced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup beef broth or water for moisture, optional
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Cook Potatoes:

  • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add diced potatoes and cook for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and golden. Remove and set aside.

Cook Beef:

  • In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and cook the ground beef until browned, about 6–8 minutes. Drain excess fat.

Add Aromatics:

  • Add onion and garlic to the skillet with beef and cook for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.

Combine and Season:

  • Return potatoes to the skillet. Stir in paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add broth if mixture seems dry. Cook for 5 more minutes.

Optional Cheese:

  • Sprinkle cheese over the top and cover until melted.

Serve:

  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
