- ½ cup all-purpose flour

- Salt & black pepper to taste

- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons cold butter cubed
- ¾ cup buttermilk plus more if needed
